Kevin leads day-to-day operations at Brainsights, evangelizing to media companies, advertisers and content creators of all kinds on how they can leverage neuro-measurement technology and data to gain better insights into audiences and consumers.
Kevin has held senior strategic data and analytics roles at top agencies and advertisers in both Europe and North America over the last 7 years. He’s advised Fortune 100 media companies and advertisers on how to use data to understand people and improve communications performance, working with the likes of the British Broadcasting Corporation, DIAGEO, L’Oreal, Fidelity Investments and Molson Coors along the way.
An avid food lover and traveler, Kevin loves exploring the great food cities of the world, grazing their markets and restaurants in search of inspiration, delight and really good coffee. Beyond food and coffee, his other three lifelong loves: Manchester United, the city of Toronto, and his wife Hayley.
Dan leads product and analysis at Brainsights, managing the team that creates powerful visuals and actionable insights for Brainsights’ clients. He shepherds the processes and tools that allow Brainsights’ techniques to be relevant and relatable to the communications industry.
Dan has experience in both the academic and advertising agency worlds. He has led Advanced Analytics at one of the largest media agencies in Canada, collaborated with global centers of excellence on international analytics initiatives for the likes of Procter and Gamble, Revlon and CIBC, and provided data strategy consultancy services to a variety of brands and agencies. He also has experience performing research across social-, socio-cognitive-, cultural- and industrial-psychology disciplines, research which he used to launch the first Behavioural Economics unit at a large agency in Canada.
Dan is an avid spirits enthusiast, who makes a range of his own infused alcohol, and is currently crafting up the Brainsights signature drink.
Alan is responsible for technology development and strategy at Brainsights. He spends his time building the hardware and software that make it possible to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
Alan has over a decade of professional experience building software. At Mozilla, he developed modern technology for the Internet, including some of the first Web-based game engines. He has a bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
Alan is a prolific urban gardener, a board game geek, and a rock climber. He lives in downtown Toronto with his partner.
Steven leads Event Operations and Community Management at Brainsights, ensuring that research events fulfill client data collection needs while also providing an enjoyable experience that research participants want to repeat.
Steven has more than a decade in special event production ranging from weddings and corporate trade shows to concerts, album release parties and private functions for A list musicians in Nashville. Over the years, he was worked with a clientele base that included The American Cancer Society, Volkswagen, Clear Channel Radio, Natasha Beddingfield, Lauren Alaina and Carrie Underwood.
An avid outdoor adventurer, Steven loves hiking with his wife Shannon and their 2 dogs Albus and Mila. His other passions include US politics, University of Alabama football and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
